Antionette Lewis

Licensed Insurance Broker / Benefit Consultant

Antionette Lewis has more than 20 years of progressive experience in the human resources field, particularly in the specialty disciplinary areas of human resources management, benefits management, benefits administration, insurance, employee benefits call center, HR audits, training, claims administration, as well as recruitment and selection.

As a human resources professional, she worked in the following industries:

  • Healthcare
  • Insurance Sales
  • Government

She holds a Master of Science degree in Personnel Administration and a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management. Ms. Lewis is a trained employee benefits specialist professional (TEBS), human resources generalist, multi-state licensed insurance broker, and claims adjuster.

John Martin Arthur

Human Resources Trainer

I am a very broad-based human resources generalist with strong communication (platform) skills. I have more than 25 years of progressive and diversified human resources experience with Fortune 500 organizations.

In addition, I have taught human resources courses (part-time) at Iowa Valley Continuing Education, Buena Vista University, and Rio Salado Community College. I have held certifications for DDI, (Interaction Management) Zenger Miller, Behavioral Interviewing, Ergonomics, and SPHR.

The positions I have held include personnel director, human resources manager, regional human resources manager, company ethics officer, as well as training and development manager.

I hold a bachelor’s degree in Speech/Communications and a master’s degree in Industrial Relations.

Rafael Calderon

Naval Science Instructor

After serving in the United States Marine Corps for 26 years, the last 16 years were spent in the recruitment arena holding several training positions. I concluded my career in the Marine Corps in 2004.

Among the several positions that I held while in the recruitment arena are regional training director for the Southeastern United States and regional training manager for the same region. Currently, I am the naval science instructor at Woodstock High School, and I am responsible for the educational development of 130 cadets.

The Naval Science curriculum encompasses topics that range from basic leadership to included meteorology. I hold a Master of Science degree from Central Michigan University (H.R. administration) and a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management of Technical Operations from Embry Riddle Aeronautical University. 

In addition, I am a professional human resource (PHR) professional certified by the Human Resources Certification Institute, a master trainer certified by Achieve Global, and an educator certified by the state of Georgia.

Joel S. Vance

Human Resources Trainer

Joel S. Vance has more than 19 years of experience in the human resources discipline. Mr. Vance received an undergraduate degree in Marketing from Morehouse College and a graduate degree in Human Resources Management. He has worked in many different industries including healthcare, transportation, service, nonprofit, and the government.

Mr. Vance began his career as a recruiting clerk. As a regional human resources manager, he was responsible for over 13 states including the territory of Puerto Rico.

Mr. Vance rose to the position of Director of Human Resources for a business-to-business consulting firm. He was accepted in the International Who’s Who of Professionals in Management for his employee relations program, which was featured in Success Magazine. After two years, Mr. Vance became a principal partner of another organizational development consulting firm.

In the first three years of his stay, Mr. Vance developed client relationships with the Transportation Security Administration, AT&T Mobility (formerly known as Cingular Wireless), Global Payments, New Birth Missionary Baptist Church, American Red Cross, Capella University, Clayton State University, and Chattahoochee Technical College.

At present, Mr. Vance also serves as an adjunct faculty member at the University of Phoenix.

Monte Dixon

Human Resources Trainer

Monte Dixon has 19 years of experience in the field of human resources. She has worked with major corporations such as the Raytheon Company, American Cancer Society, Cigna Property and Casualty, and Aramark Corporation, to name a few. Her background spans numerous industries including telecommunications, insurance, nonprofit, and healthcare.

Monte has a bachelor’s degree in Human Resources from the Georgia State University and a master’s degree in Human Resources Management from Keller Graduate School of Management. She is a member of Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) and has two professional certifications to her credit. She is also a PHR and a Certified Personnel Consultant (CPC).

Kevin Carmichael

Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR)

I am a Human Resource Consultant that covers basically the entire umbrella of human resources. I work with individuals, small, medium, large companies, and the government.

I have consulted my services with the City of Baltimore and Annapolis, Maryland, Fisher Emerson, Anchor Glass, Wal-Mart, BT Construction, and even worked with the office of Congressman Elijah Cummings, just to name a few. I consider myself to be a humble individual who believes everyone’s needs deserves equal knowledge in order to progress through personal and business life.

I attended Alabama A&M University where I double majored in Business (with a focus on HR) and Computer Science. I also attended Calhoun Community College where I majored in Human Resource Management and Info Technology. I became a PHR in 1995 and an SPHR in 2002.

I worked for over 10 years with MCI Worldcom in Greenville, South Carolina before the company folded. There, I worked on all HR-related duties including recruitment, learning and development, and senior human resource management, among others. All in all, including my education and experience, I hold over 15 years of practical knowledge and work practice.

I am an active member of West Georgia SHRM, NAPS, ASA, and various other professional societies. I am also an ordained minister.
